Life... don't talk to me about life... Monday, May. 09, 2005 - 11:30 a.m. Well, over the past six months or so, life has thrown me one curve ball after another. And for the most part, I have dealt with them and moved on. But the last couple of them hit me pretty hard and kept me away from here for a while. I am still not sure if I am ready to talk about all of it, to be honest. Some days I am okay with all of it, other days I am not. I guess I can throw in a brief update, for the few people who might read this and that I dont talk to on MSN on a regular basis. I am single again. I have been since Valentine's Day (great timing...) Long story on that one. We are still friends and were hanging out quite a bit before his recent trip to Alberta. He has not been in much of a mood to hang out since he got back. Hopefully we get back to the hanging out stage again. Pete is moving to the States at the end of the summer. Divorce papers are all filled out and just waiting on finances to allow us to process them. I think he wants to get it done before he moves. Which means we have to file pretty darn soon! Work is going really well. It is starting to pick up again, which is good beacause I hate having too much time on my hands. Especially when I have too much on my mind. I can't seem to turn it off, so if I have nothing to do, then my mind keeps spinning on scenarios and what I could have done better, stuff like that. On another positive note, I have lost at least 30 pounds since the burlesque show in November. KittenBrat is actually giving me the clothes she has shrunk out of and most of them are fitting me, which surprised the hell out of me. I still have my gym membership but have not used it in a long time. Need to start using it soon though. If I can lose 30 pounds without trying I should be able to work wonders by putting more effort into it. I guess that is it for now. Might update more again soon. previous - next
